Watched the second heat last night, I think you guys might be on to something Savickas was looking good last night. I am resisting the temptation to google the results.

Watched a couple of the older finals from 85 and 83 its amazing how much the events have evolved and advanced in 25 years from things like arm wrestling.

The old ones are almost comical sometimes but i never get sick of watching jon paul sigmarson doing his viking impressions..lololo
think he died from suspected steroid abuse didnt he?...cant remember now.

He died at 32 of a heart attack during training....there was a congenital heart defect running in his family that he was aware of. He really was burning the candle at both ends I think. Shame he was a great entertainer as well.

They are not even at the final yet mate, one more heat to go so two more weeks...its on bravo 9pm mondays with numerous repeats through the week.

He certainly wasn't looking quite as dominating as normal. then again I thought Poundstone was going to kick ass this year...he was a bit lack luster as well

Sometimes they just coast along though dont they and save their best for the finals.
Poundcake`s full of surprises though and i think he`s just playing it clever atm.Got plenty more left in the bag i reckon.
Marius looks right off his game though.....for real.

Kudos to SW and Totti for calling it bang on. Still dont like the fact it took a month to get to the bloody final.
